Birds of Montana
It is often said that you can’t judge a book by its cover. But that axiom does not apply to Birds of Montana, which features an original illustration by renowned wildlife artist Albert E. Gilbert of a Boreal Owl and Ferruginous Hawk on the front and back covers, respectively.
We believe that our book is an outstanding resource for anyone with an interest in the status, biology, conservation, and historical aspects of Montana’s birds. We are not impartial on this issue, however, and we encourage you read what others have said about it in the following book reviews:
